Alistair Fraser to Head Marsh UK Corporate Division

Alistair Fraser in September 2018 was appointed chief executive officer of the U.K. corporate division of global broker Marsh.

Fraser previously was CEO and president director of Marsh Indonesia and a member of Marsh Asia’s executive committee. He succeeds Joe Grogan, who has been named the chairman of Marsh Ireland. He will report to Chris Lay, CEO of Marsh UK & Ireland. Grogan, who will concentrate on Marsh’s Brexit strategy in his new role, will also report to Lay and will join the board of Marsh Ltd.

His first post with Marsh was head of the office in Reading, west of London. Before transferring to Asia in 2012, he was responsible for running the group’s offices in Bristol and Southampton, in southern England. Earlier positions included being a Sales Inspector for  Independent Insurance, London Sales Director
at broker Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT), and Branch Director with Willis.

Fraser holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) with Honours in Business/Managerial Economics from the University of the West of England.
