Changes in the Swiss Life Global Solutions Team

Swiss Life Global Solutions (SLGS) and Swiss Life Luxembourg in June 2018 announced three appointments in their teams.

Karine Verbuggen – Head of Operations SLGS

Karine Verbruggen has been appointed head of operations for global employee benefits within SLGS. She also is a member of the Management Board of Swiss Life Luxembourg.

She joined SLGS in 2016 as head of the Business Engineering team after a career as Head of the Project Management Office, Ikano Group; Group Reporting Manager, Ikano Group; Finance Director, Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders); Financial and Administrative Manager, Aide & Soins à Domicile (an NGO); Business Analyst, KBL European Private Bankers; M.I.S. Officer, Tempo-Team; she began her career as an IT Consultant with Accenture.

Karine holds a Master in Management from Louvain School of Management and was an exchange student at Laval University in Quebec, Canada.

Steve Goedert – Head of Sales & Market Development SLGS

Steve Goedert has been appointed head of sales & market development for Global Employee Benefits with SLGS.

He joined Swiss Life 17 years ago after working for mutual fund TPA, Fastnet Luxembourg.

Within SLGS, Steve has been instrumental in several employee benefits projects. This includes the launch of Swiss Life Preferred Plus (employee benefits digital portal that allows clients and their employees to administer their plans and to manage individual policies), and the launch of Swiss Life Lifecycle Strategy (investments with asset allocations that automatically adapt to the employee’s investment profile and age).

Olivier Goiot – CFO/CRO Swiss Life Luxembourg

Olivier Goïot has been appointed CFO/CRO (Chief Financial Officer and Chief Risk Officer) of Swiss Life Luxembourg, in charge of the financial and actuarial teams, as well as risk management. He joins the Management Board.

He had joined Swiss Life in 2016 as head of operations, global employee benefits, after a career as CFO of FARAD Global Fund Services; CFO and COO of Zurich Eurolife; Head of MIS & Strategy, Global Life at Zurich Insurance Company ; Head of Client Servicing at Crédit Agricole Asset Management; he had begun his career as an auditor at PwC Luxembourg.

Olivier is a graduate in corporate finance of EDHEC business school (France).
