Diego Poncelet in September 2020 joined the EMEA team of INSUROPE Network as Regional Director, to mainly focus on Greece, Luxembourg, Spain, French-speaking Switzerland, The Netherlands, and Turkey.

He comes to Insurope from AIG Global Benefits Network where as Regional Director he was in charge of the relationship management and the business development for multinational customers, prospects, brokers, consultants and insurers, mainly in the EMEA Region. Diego has broad experience in multinational E.B. captive, E.B. pooling strategy and Group risks optimizing solutions.

A former top field hockey league player, he started his career as Product Manager for American Express Business Travel, then became Operations Manager and later General Manager for MAPFRE Asistencia/ Benelux Assist.

Diego holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commercial Touristic Sciences from University of Louvain-La-Neuve, Belgium.
