Hervé Lavisse in July 2022 joined Veolia as its new group compensation and benefits (C&B) director, based near Paris, France. Veolia is active in water management; waste management; and energy services. As of June 2022, it has around 220,000 employees worldwide.
Veolia in January 2022 completed the acquisition of competitor Suez and subsequently spun off part of the combination as the “new Suez”. The latter includes Suez’s Water and Recycling & Recovery activities in France, international assets in Italy, Central Europe, Africa including Morocco, Central Asia, India, China, and Australia, as well as global digital and environmental activities. In the end, Veolia added approximately 40,000 employees to its headcount.
Hervé previously was group C&B director at Suez. Earlier, he was Director of Compensation and HR Controlling; HR Controlling Manager, both at Suez; Rewards and HR Controlling Manager at betting agency PMU; Financial Controller at Metro Cash and Carry France; and Financial Controller at Conforama, a home furnishings retail chain.
Lavisse is a graduate of Audencia business school in Nantes, France; and holds an International Compensation Specialist designation issued by Cercle Magellan, France.
