Consulting firm HR Path in May 2018 acquired Ataraxis, headquartered in Belgium and operating in the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Spain and France.
Ataraxis is a Workday specialist (Workday is a provider of enterprise cloud software for finance and human resources). Ataraxis will become the dedicated Workday practice of HR Path. The senior management team, Tom Hillen, Wouter Van den Avont and Jan Snyers will become HR Path partners.
Ataraxis implements both HR and financial cloud solutions and has in-depth European expertise, operating in large, multi-country, multi-language, multi-currency environments.
The new move comes soon after HR Path’s April 2018 acquisition of Oxfera’s SAP human capital management division. A Spanish firm, Oxfera is an integrator of SAP’s HCM solution.
The external growth is funded by an April 2017 capital raise of €30 million intended to help the company boost its international growth strategy. The funding round was led by Activa Capital, Ardian and Société Générale Capital Partenaires.
HR Path has four business lines, namely HR and HRIS business consulting; HRIS implementation (Oracle, SAP, Workday); outsourcing of HR solutions and services; design and distribution of HR software. The group has over 700 employees and generates over €80 million in revenue. Based in France, it is present in 15 countries, including the U.S. and Canada through the July 2011 acquisition of HR cloud solutions consultant Avenue HR.
