“I don’t know – Send it to HR:” Employment Essentials for the Global Mobility Professional

Global Mobility Professionals may or may not be human resources experts. But, their day-to-day duties necessarily involve considerations of employment laws that vary widely across the globe. Minimum entitlements, termination protections, post-employment obligations, and related issues can land an employer in inadvertent litigation in multiple countries. Participants in this session featuring Trent Sutton of Littler Mendleson PC and Alexander Bartz of Vanguard will address some of the key regional distinctions of essential employment consideration to better understand the red flags, questions, and risks that apply when placing in expatriate in that location and to enhance more thorough and conscious decision-making.
