MAXIS Appoints Jayesh Patel as Chief Business Development Officer

MAXIS Global Benefits Network (MAXIS GBN) announced in February 2026 the appointment of Jayesh Patel as Chief Business Development Officer, effective 5 May 2026. Patel will join the Executive Committee and report to CEO Matthieu Rouot.

In this role, Patel will lead MAXIS GBN’s global Business Development team and be responsible for shaping and executing the network’s worldwide business development strategy, with a focus on multinational client growth.

Patel joins from Allianz Commercial, where he has served as Global Head of Multinational Market Practice since 2022, overseeing the development of Allianz’s multinational portfolio and market strategy. Earlier in his career, he held several senior roles at Allianz Global Benefits, including Regional Director for the UK & Ireland and Global Head of Tender & Risk Management.

He brings close to 20 years’ experience across employee benefits and property & casualty insurance. Patel is an associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and holds an honours degree in Economics from the University of Surrey.

MAXIS GBN’s business development team supports more than 300 multinational clients in designing and expanding their global employee benefits programmes. The network manages a portfolio exceeding €2.4bn and operates through local insurer partners in more than 100 markets, covering close to seven million employees worldwide.

The appointment reinforces MAXIS GBN’s ambition to strengthen its commercial capabilities and maintain its position as a leading global employee benefits network, at a time when multinational employers continue to seek more integrated and scalable benefits solutions across markets.
