Generali in September 2018 changed its organizational structure.

Group CEO Philippe Donnet adapted Generali’s organization to carry out the new Strategic Plan 2019-2021 and better support “integrated projects at Group level and a strong involvement of the operating companies within the Group.”

A new position of General Manager reports to the Group CEO. Frédéric de Courtois is in charge of the Group CFO; Group Chief Marketing & Customer Officer; Group M&A; Group Strategy & Business Accelerator; and Group Operations & Insurance.

At the same time, Cristiano Borean becomes Group CFO, replacing Luigi Lubelli who leaves Generali.

Furthermore, the Global Business Lines & International structure disappears. Country Manager Italy Marco Sesana oversees Global Corporate & Commercial, Generali Employee Benefits (GEB) and Generali Global Health (GGH); Country Manager France Jean-Laurent Granier is in charge of Europ Assistance / Generali Global Assistance (GGA).

Another new position, that of CEO International, oversees operating companies and the regions (Asia, Americas & Southern Europe, Spain and Switzerland). This position is assigned to Jaime Anchùstegui Melgarejo who reports to Group CEO Philippe Donnet.
