Philippe de Dreuzy Joins Alliant as Global Practice Leader, Employee Benefits Group

U.S. broker Alliant in February 2020 announced the appointment of Philippe de Dreuzy to head up its global benefits practice as Senior Vice President and Global Practice Leader. He will be based near San Francisco, California.

With headquarters in Newport Beach, California, Alliant Insurance Services provides property and casualty, workers’ compensation, employee benefits, underwriting, surety, and financial products and services to clients in the U.S.

Over his 25-year career in health insurance, de Dreuzy has established himself as a leader in global benefits. Most recently, he oversaw the U.S. operations of AXA Partners, an AXA transversal B2B2C unit: assistance services, travel insurance, global medical coverage, domestic TPA, roadside assistance, and credit life protection. Previously, he was President & CEO Americas of Paris-based global broker and TPA MSH International; Vice President – International Employee Benefits for Marsh & McLennan Agency in New England; Vice President at Rutherford (a Marsh & McLennan Agency company); Director of M&A at British Telecom, based in Virginia; Sales & Marketing Manager for Latin America, and earlier, Marketing Manager for Spain & Portugal at Swiss Risk; he began his career as Sales Manager, France, for IT provider Datapoint.

Originally from France, de Dreuzy has lived in Paris, Madrid, Calgary, New York, DC, and Chicago. He is fluent in English, French, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese and holds an MBA in international business and strategic planning from Georgetown University.
