Mr. Richard Polak is Executive Vice President of the Multinational Benefits & Human Resources Consulting Practice within the Benefits and Human Resources Consulting division of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. As practice leader, Richard provides advice to multinational organizations in the areas of international HR as well as compensation and benefits, and guides the development of solutions to meet their needs.

Bringing more than 30 years of experience to the solutions he develops for organizations undergoing rapid global changes, Richard has worked with over 300 multinationals dedicated to driving innovation in international benefits, healthcare, pensions and HR. He is the creator of the e-subscription service GVISOR™ and the annual IBIS Academy. GVISOR provides information and insights to support strategic expansion decisions, compliance, corporate governance and other multinational employer
objectives. IBIS Academy has gained a global reputation as the world’s largest, longest running conference and educational forum on international benefits.

Richard regularly speaks and presents at conferences around the world, including the IBIS Academy, the International Labour Organization’s annual congress in Geneva, the Bulgarian Conference on Social Security Reform, the National Conference on Pension Reform and events held by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), WorldatWork and the American Benefits Council. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Mathematics from Alfred University in Alfred, New York, with continued studies at Columbia University, the New School for Social Research and UCLA.
