Stevan Bernard, an expert in global security management, and Executive Vice President at global media and entertainment company, in November 2016 has been appointed as non-executive director at Healix International and its U.S. subsidiary, HX Global.

Bernard comes to Healix, a leading provider of international medical, security and travel assistance services, with over 30 years’ experience in the security industry, including a career in the U.S. Army and law enforcement. He has coordinated security for such major events as the Confederations Cup and FIFA World Cup in Brazil in 2014, the FWC in South Africa in 2010, as well as presidential and royal visits with heads of state, movie premieres, talent protection, productions, and promotions worldwide.

Prior to joining his current position in 2002, Bernard worked for US Robotics as director of worldwide security; for 3Com as director of security, environment, health and safety; and held several management positions for Occidental Petroleum, Iowa Beef Proecessors (now Tyson) and Midcon Corporation (now Kinder-Morgan). He holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice & Psychology from Morningside College and is a Graduate in Police Administration of the FBI National Academy.
