Theo Lutgendorff joined in November 2015 as partner in Sprenkels & Verschuren, Actuaries and Consultants, in Amsterdam. He previously worked at Zurich Global Life as global partnership director (2013-2015), and as head of the Zurich Employee Benefits Network (2010-2013). Before his roles at Zurich, Theo was active in the global benefits and pensions market as principal with Aon Consulting.

Sprenkels & Verschuren is the largest privately held and independent actuarial and pensions consulting firm in the Netherlands. It was founded in 2007 by two of Mercer’s former worldwide partners: Ruud Sprenkels and Frank Verschuren. The company now employs 50 associates who provide actuarial and consulting services to over 35% of Dutch pension funds.

Together with Robert Deddens, who joined in 2013, Theo will lead the expansion of Sprenkels & Verschuren in the domestic and international corporate segment. Sprenkels & Verschuren is a member of the Abelica Global network of actuarial firms.
