Olga Collins in April 2021 became the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Worldwide Broker Network (WBN), based in San Francisco, California. She succeeds Francie Starnes [1], who became CEO five years ago and will assume the role of CEO Emeritus through 2021.
Collins had been leading WBN member firm Beecher Carlson’s multinational practice for 7 years, as well as WBN’s Young Professionals Academy. Beecher Carlson is the large account division of U.S. broker Brown & Brown. Additionally, she’s been a member of the WBN Board of Directors since 2019. She began her career as Risk Manager at UPS.
Collins earned a B.S. in finance from Syracuse University and an M.B.A. from LeMoyne College, as well as the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation. Olga was named a 2019 Business Insurance Women to Watch, Hot 100 by Insurance Business America, 2020 Power Broker in the International category, and 2020 Elite Women.
