The European Association of Paritarian Institutions (AEIP) in April 2021 announced the 2021 edition of the World Pension Alliance & Transatlantic Conference. The event will be held online on 2 and 3 June 2021.

It brings together leading experts in pension and healthcare benefits, as well as trustees and employee benefits plan professionals from around the world to share their knowledge and experience on the most prevalent issues.

The 2021 conference will focus on the impact of the Covid pandemic on healthcare and pension plans at the global level.

• Session 1: How Are Pension Funds Adapting in the Pandemic Environment?
• Session 2: Sustainable Finance: The Role of Pension Funds
• Session 3: Digital Transformation of Healthcare
• Session 4: How Are Labor Markets Transforming in Response to the COVID Pandemic?

The conference is organized since 2008 on a yearly basis by the World Pension Alliance and the Transatlantic Partnership, a group of regional organizations including AEIP, the U.S. National Coordinating Committee for Multiemployer Plans (NCCMP), and the Multi-employer Benefit Plan Council of Canada (MEBCO).

This year, it is sponsored by Zurich and by Ullico; GBV will publish a conference report in its July-August 2021 edition.
