Vittorio Zaniboni in September 2022 joined consulting firm EY as a Director and Captive & Insurance Excellence Leader, based in Luxembourg.

Building on his extensive experience in global employee benefits management acquired at Generali Employee Benefits (GEB), Vittorio will focus on captives’ employee benefits (EB) books, working closely with EY’s Global Captive Network leadership team.

Zaniboni was previously chief insurance officer (CIO) at GEB. He joined GEB as an actuary in 1998 and then was promoted successively to reinsurance manager, chief actuary, and finally chief technical officer before becoming CIO. He began his career as an actuary in the Life department of Assicurazioni Generali.

Vittorio holds a Master’s degree in Actuarial Sciences from the Università degli Studi di Trieste, Italy; and attended the executive education program in Leadership and Change management at the Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Lausanne, Switzerland.
