David Chalaoui Appointed as Growth Leader at Mercer Marsh Benefits

Luxembourg, January 2024 – Mercer Marsh Benefits has announced the appointment of David Chalaoui as their new Growth Leader for Europe in Global Mobility Solutions. Chalaoui, who commenced his role in January 2024, brings a wealth of experience and expertise in business development and client relations within the European region.

Prior to joining Mercer Marsh Benefits, Chalaoui had an extensive career at Swiss Life Global Solutions, where he served for over eight years. During his tenure, he significantly contributed to the company in various roles. From January 2021 to January 2024, he was the Regional Director of Business Development for Europe, focusing on Pooling and International Mobility (IPMI-Risk-Pension), operating out of Luxembourg, Geneva, and Lausanne.

Chalaoui also held the position of Regional Director for Clients & Partners at the Swiss Life Network, where he managed relationships and development strategies in regions including France, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Middle East, and Africa. This experience, spanning several years, was fundamental in establishing his expertise in multinational client management and strategic partnership development.

Earlier in his career, David Chalaoui was associated with Willis Towers Watson as the Head of Multinational Human Capital Benefits Practice, where he demonstrated his capabilities in handling complex benefits solutions for multinational corporations.

Educationally, Chalaoui is well-equipped with a Master’s degree in Insurance Finance from Ecole Nationale D’Assurance – Conservatoire National Des Arts Et Métiers (CNAM), Paris, specializing in Assurance, Finance, Economics, and Insurance Management with a focus on Finance Actuarial Science and Enterprise Risk Management. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law, with a specialization in Business Law/International Law from Université Paris 1 Pantheon Sorbonne, and completed preparatory courses at the Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris, specializing in Business Law.

Chalaoui’s appointment is a significant move for Mercer Marsh Benefits as they continue to expand and strengthen their global mobility solutions across Europe. His track record of success in various strategic roles positions him as a valuable asset to the company’s growth and development in the region.
