Generali CARE in March 2026 appointed Wendy Liu as CEO Global Benefits and Partnerships, where she will oversee the company’s employee benefits and B2B2C businesses.

Liu brings over 20 years of international insurance experience, including nearly a decade at Willis Towers Watson in benefits consulting and most recently serving as CEO of Zurich Integrated Benefits and International Life from 2011 to 2026.

In her new role, she will oversee the Employee Benefits business, led by Ludovic Bayard, and the Insurance and Distribution Partnerships entity led by David Cadoux, ensuring strong alignment and accelerated execution across both areas. In these functions, she will report directly to Antoine Parisi, CEO of Generali CARE.

Wendy holds an MBA from Columbia University and London Business School, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. She is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.

The appointment comes as Generali CARE seeks to capitalize on what Liu describes as “a unique opportunity to build the world’s leading employee benefits network” through the combination of Generali Employee Benefits and Swiss Life Network. Generali CARE generated €5.3 billion in turnover in 2024, with its employee benefits division posting €1.6 billion in premium volume across 127 countries through 136 local network partners.

Liu’s leadership will be critical as the global employee benefits market increasingly focuses on comprehensive well-being solutions spanning physical, emotional and financial protection for multinational corporate clients.
