Director of Employee Benefits
LeAnne joined WBN in April 2016 as Director of Employee Benefits. With close to 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, LeAnne brings a broad depth of knowledge covering both U.S. and Global Employee Benefits, as well as Private Client Group. She has worked for Barney & Barney (now Marsh McLennan Agency) Mercer, Willis and HUB International as a senior consultant and in executive leadership roles focused on global strategy development, design and placement of global employee benefits programs, including multinational pooling arrangements.
At WBN, LeAnne is responsible for expanding WBN’s employee benefits footprint and value proposition. She is actively engaged in expanding WBN employee benefit membership, employee benefit carrier relationships and associate memberships. LeAnne develops the EB agenda at the global conferences and supports WBN in employee benefits business development activities.
LeAnne is recognized as a leader in the industry. She served on the faculty for the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans Certificate in Global Benefits Management certificate program (2013, 2014), was a featured presenter at 2013 Zurich Forum, 2012 General EB Forum and the 2010 World Medical Tourism and Global Healthcare Congress. LeAnne has been featured in Employee Benefit Advisor “A day in the life” (July 2015), Crain’s Benefits Outlook “Assess expatriate workers’ assignments before picking health plan” (October 2014) and co-authored “Global planning for the unpredictable – preparation for a ‘black swan’ event”, Benefits & Compensation International (May 2009).
