The European Association of Paritarian Institutions (AEIP) in November 2021 announced its upcoming webinar, to be held on December 2, 2021, on “The added value of the Paritarian model – Celebrating 25 Years of AEIP in Brussels”.

The full title of the event is ‘The future of social protection – the role of supplementary social protection institutions: The added-value of the paritarian model to deliver solutions in a changing context’. It is part of the 2021 European Retirement Week and marks the association’s 25th anniversary of activities in Brussels.

The event brings together experts, academics, policy makers, social partners and representatives of AEIP members to discuss the vital role of the paritarian model. The discussions will focus on the added-value and functioning of paritarian institutions within the current landscape of social protection organizations. Participants will hear about a wide range of topics, such as the evolution of social protection institutions, transformation due to covid-19 as well as the integration of non-standard forms of employment.

The European Retirement Week will begin with a launch event on 29 November, featuring a keynote speech by Mairead McGuinness, European Commissioner for Financial Services, Financial Stability and the Capital Markets Union. The event runs from 29 November to 3 December 2021 and is organized by 11 European associations with the goal of providing a platform for a wide range of stakeholders to debate the future of pensions in Europe and raise citizens’ awareness of the need to save for retirement.

The AEIP webinar will be held online on December 2nd, 2021 from 10:00 to 12:00 CET.
