AIMA announces changes to global Board of Directors

The Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA) in September 2016 announced that Simon Lorne, Vice Chairman and Chief Legal Officer of alternative investment management firm Millennium Management, would become its next Chairperson.

In addition to Lorne, there are four new additions to the Council: Robin Grew, Chief Administrative Officer and GC of Man Group; Han Ming Ho, a partner at Sidley Austin; Ryan Taylor, Partner and Global Head of Compliance at Brevan Howard Asset Management; and Michael Weinberg, Senior Managing Director and Chief Investment Strategist with Protégé Partners.

Lorne succeeds former SEC Commissioner Kathleen Casey, who served as AIMA Chair from 2012 to 2016. Also leaving are Council members Eva Sanchez of Citadel Europe and Choo San Yeoh of Albourne Partners,

The new Council will serve from September 2016 until September 2018. The complete list of board members is as follows:
