Europ Assistance Holding in August 2017 appointed Fabio Carsenzuola as the new CEO and General Manager of Europ Assistance Italy, a member of the Generali Group.

Carsenzuola replaces Bruno Scaroni, who was recently named Strategy & Business Accelerator Director at Generali Group.

He began his professional career as project leader in Pride Group and later worked for management consulting firm McKinsey, where he focused on banking and insurance in Italy and in Eastern Europe. He joined Generali in 2010, where he was sales director of Alleanza Toro Assicurazioni before becoming Director of Business Planning of Generali Italia.

Carsenzuola joined Europ Assistance Italy as Chief Agents & Brokers Management Officer in April 2015, before being elected Chief Operating Officer. He was also a member of the management group that deals with Europ Assistance’s  group-wide operations as well as technological and digital innovation.

Carsenzuola holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology from CEFRIEL (Politecnico di Milano) as well as a Laurea degree in Information Systems Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.
