Gallagher and Cobee Announce New Partnership
Global broker Gallagher and employee benefits management software provider Cobee in February 2022 announced a new partnership agreement.
Founded in 2019, Cobee operates in Spain for companies such as Ogilvy, Group M, Booking, Avis, TripAdvisor or Glovo. In January 2021, it expanded its services to Portugal.
Under the agreement, Cobee will offer bespoke brokerage and administration solutions in Iberia to Gallagher’s Multinational Benefits & HR Consulting (MBHRC) practice clients, and Cobee will have access to Gallagher’s Global Network partners to service the E.B. and human capital needs of their multinational clients.
The partnership is led by LeAnne Stefl, Multinational Practice Leader, and Dieter Gistelinck, Managing Consultant, for Gallagher’s MBHRC Practice and by Borja Aranguren, CEO, and Jaime Sánchez, Head of Insurance, for Cobee.
According to Gallagher, “Our multinational clients are looking for high quality brokerage and consultancy solutions that create a superior global employee experience underpinned by the latest technology. Having the ability [..] to refer business to a partner like Cobee with their combined consulting and brokerage services supported by [an] employee facing application, will create innovative experiences for the employees of our joint clients, [who] will enjoy expert advice, less administrative burden and increased employee engagement.”
According to Cobee, “The alliance with Gallagher is part of [our] commitment to transform the human resources market. Thanks to this agreement, we [can] demonstrate to more European businesses the potential of flexible remuneration that will allow them to raise their employability value, […] in a simple and automated way.”
According to a statement from the company, “Cobee is the first European digital platform that allows to manage employee benefit plans in a flexible and fully automated way. Its objective is to [offer and administer] fully customized compensation plans. Through an app, employees will […] be able to control and manage their benefits […]. And from a dashboard, companies can customize these benefit plans based on the priorities of each employee, without having to be in contact with different providers.”
