Global IPMI branch of Cigna recruits Alison Meckiffe as CMO
Cigna in March 2017 announced the appointment of Alison Meckiffe as Chief Marketing Officer for Cigna’s Global Individual Private Medical Insurance business, reporting to Arjan Toor, Director of Cigna Global IPMI.
Meckiffe joins Cigna with over 17 years’ experience of strategic marketing and customer insight, most recently with AXA U.K., where her most recent role was Chief Operating Officer Chief Operating Officer for Direct & Retail Partnerships, with responsibility for marketing, analytics, sales, and service operations with a focus on digitization. Previously, Alison worked for TUI Travel for almost 11 years in various roles, including Digital Strategy & Business Development Director and Global CRM. She is a graduate of IMD Business School and holds an MSc in Marketing Management as well as a BA(Hons) in European Studies, both from University College Cork.
The newly-created role of CMO signals the growth of Cigna’s IPMI business area. One of its visions for 2020, being the “first place customers turn to for their health and well-being solutions,” is supported by offering a one-stop-shop for health and well-being.
