HX Global to provide new Active Monitoring service for Concur’s Integrated Traveller Risk Management Solution
With growing global uncertainties, there is an increased demand for a way to reach traveling employees anywhere, at any time, and this was the driving force behind a new Active Monitoring service, offered by HX Global as an add-on to Concur’s Integrated Traveller Risk Management Solution, that is designed to help companies manage employee safety.
The integrated Traveller Risk Management Solution, unveiled by Concur in March 2017 at Concur Fusion in Chicago, will ensure that companies are able to communicate with and assist employees on the company’s behalf with solutions from pre-travel guidance to emergency safety information. It utilizes the existing Concur Risk Messaging solution and integrates it with HX Global’s risk intelligence and 24/7 global monitoring and response services. These services are designed to ensure the safety and well-being of employees as they travel across time zones and outside of business hours.
Concur’s software is widely used by business travelers to track their travel arrangements, tickets, bookings and expenses. Concur was acquired by ERP (enterprise resource planning) provider SAP in 2014.
According to Declan Meighan, Global Security Director for HX Global, the new product “provides more granular and location specific information in order to minimize risk and delivers the risk manager a dedicated monitoring service with locates and communicates with employees during a crisis.”
