Jimmy Johansen – Contributor Profile
Jimmy Johansen is a Partner in Mercer’s Career and Global Benefit Management (GBM) business. He combines the role of Norway Lead for Career and GBM Account Director being the strategic benefit advisor for some of Mercer’s largest European clients. He has worked with Mercer since 2003 including 2 years in the Singapore office. During the last 10 years Jimmy has worked with Mercer Marsh Benefits’ GBM proposition on product development, sales and training of global GBM staff. He has worked with multinational pooling and benefits financing solutions for more than 30 years.
Jimmy is currently leading the work in Norway on compensation and benefits, executive remuneration, D&I, M&A and advising multinational companies on global Health, Wealth and Rewards solutions. He also has long experience with mobility and expatriate consulting in the area of expatriate administration and –benefit solutions.
Prior to Mercer, Jimmy worked as the International Employee Benefit and Pension Manager for a European Global Fortune 500 company and has background from the Life Insurance industry.
In 1990, Jimmy attained a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Norwegian School of Management in Oslo, Norway.
