Michael Gates is vice chairman of Richard Lewis Communications and an associate fellow of Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford.
Saïd is the University of Oxford’s center of learning for undergraduate and graduate students in business, management, and finance. Established in 1996, the school is named after Wafic Saïd, the Saudi-Syrian chief founding benefactor.
Michael has taught the cross-cultural module on the Oxford Programme on Negotiation for many years.
He has worked closely with Richard Lewis for 25 years, teaching cross-cultural topics worldwide for dozens of blue-chip corporations as well as governments. He is also a board member of the Finnish-British Trade Association, in Helsinki where he lives, and a director of TCA Ltd, which assists companies negotiating internationally, with a particular focus on China.
