Aspen Pharma Group has promoted Peter Gasteiger to Head of HR, International Region, as of October 2019. Gasteiger will remain based in Munich.

Gasteiger has been with Aspen Pharma Group for over five years. He joined the company as Head of HR for Europe in December 2013 and held that position until his promotion.

He came to Aspen from Sandoz, where he was Global Head HR Antiinfectives, and Head HR Austria from 2011 through 2013, and Global Head HR Antiinfectives and Oncology Injectibles from Feb. 2010 through May 2011. Prior to that, he served as Head of Global Talent Management, Head, HR Central and Eastern Europe, and Head, Compensation & Benefits Austria, and HR Integration Manager, beginning in 2001. He was also Head HR, Labour Relations and Labour Law for Biochemie, which later became Sandoz, from 1999 to 2001.

Gasteiger holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Innsbruck, Austria.
