Saira has been involved in the employee benefits sector for over 25 years, offering consultancy support on pensions, risk and healthcare provision during that time. Saira started her career working for one of the UK’s largest mutual insurance companies, specialising in the pensions environment.

She quickly transitioned from the insurance environment to the consultancy side of employee benefits and worked up from an administration role in her early career to progressively more senior consulting roles within national employee benefits consulting firms.

Over the last 15 years Saira has worked increasingly in the international arena supporting a diverse portfolio of companies with their benefit programmes, supporting clients from the design stage, through implementation and communication to ongoing management. Saira is also involved in working with WBN partners to deliver global solutions and co ordinating the ongoing management and stewardship of global benefit strategies.

Saira holds the Diploma in Financial Planning and is Head of International Benefits at Mattioli Woods, a member of the Worldwide Broker Network and is a member of their Employee Benefits Steering Committee.
