Tim has over 40 years of experience in the field of employee benefit insurance programs, executive benefits and corporate life & disability arrangements. He began his career in Montreal, QC with a major insurance company where he received his initial training and successfully managed a portfolio of diverse clients. Tim remained with that company for just over 22 years, progressing through positions of increasing responsibility for both management and business development. He was transferred to the Toronto head office in 1992 when he accepted a senior national marketing role assisting clients with locations in all provinces across Canada.

In 1995, Tim transitioned to the consulting side of employee benefits helping to develop successful consulting practices with a number of brokerage/consulting companies in the GTA. Just prior to joining HUB International as President, WMEB, ON in 2009, Tim was operating his own employee benefit, consulting brokerage company, providing advice on benefit plan design, implementation, communication and ongoing management. He was appointed to the position of Vice Chairman, July 1, 2016.

Tim is a member of the Canadian Pension and Benefits Institute and Worldwide Broker Network (WBN), the largest network of independent insurance brokers in the world, participating as a member of their Employee Benefits
steering committee.

Tim is bilingual (English/French) and holds a Life and Accident and Sickness license and a Certified Health Specialist designation.
