Generali in January 2017 promoted its Group Head of Corporate Finance Luigi Lubelli to Group CFO, replacing Alberto Minali who leaves the group. Mr. Lubelli will join the Group Management Committee and Minali will not immediately be replaced in his role as General Manager as defined by the articles of incorporation. He holds a BA in political economy from Italy’s elite business university Luigi Bocconi in Milan as well as a Master’s degree in Risk Management in Insurance Companies from Instituto de Estudios Burs√°tiles in Madrid, Spain.
