GEB Invests in Human Capital, Strengthens Leadership Team

GEB_Logo_01_G_Lines_EBN_POSGEB in June 2017 announced the appointment of three senior executives to its leadership team. As part of the investment drive enabling its growth strategy, Generali’s global employee benefits network has hired three well-known global employee benefits leaders from MAXIS and AXA.

Thierry Mestach joins GEB as director of Network Management & Partnerships, after 19 years with AXA and MAXIS which he joined in 2000, soon after its launch. His past responsibilities included network members’ relations, sales and business development with a primary focus on European and Asian markets.

Eric Butler joins GEB as director of Global Health and Wellness. He has over 25 years of experience in international medical insurance. Eric is a recognized expert and frequent speaker on data management, analysis and reporting. Previously with MetLife as Vice President of Global Health & wellness, he also was the Chief Health and Wellness Officer of MAXIS. Roland Raad joins GEB as director of its newly created Personal Accident & Business Travel Insurance department, especially in conjunction with Generali owned assistance provider Europ Assistance, also known as Generali Global Assistance (GGA) in select markets such as the U.S.A. Roland’s experience in international insurance includes positions at American companies and at AXA, where he spent 12 years in new business development.
