Henner head of international Alexis Obligi joins Allianz Worldwide Care
Allianz Worldwide Care announced in October 2015 the appointment of Alexis Obligi as Director of Sales and Marketing and member of the Executive Committee, joining from Henner where he was Deputy Managing Director of International & Corporate Business Development.
Obligi’s appointment follows that of Ida Luka-Lognoné as CEO in July 2015, succeeding Ron Buchan who retired and became chairman of the board. Obligi reports to the CEO and replaces Claude Daboul, who used to manage Operations as well as Sales & Marketing. Head of Operations Eamonn O’Flynn now reports directly to the CEO.
Prior to his role at Henner, Obligi had been Director of Business Development Europe for AIG United Guaranty, Director of Business Development France for GE Money Bank, Deputy General Manager for Telephone 2 in Argentina, and held positions in sales at GE Capital in Argentina and at Australian Water Services (Suez Group) in Sydney earlier in his career; he holds an MBA from INSEAD and a BA in Finance and Tax from Paris Dauphine university.
Allianz Worldwide Care is the international health insurance division of Allianz Worldwide Partners and provides health, life and disability insurance and corporate assistance services to clients and insurance partners in 34 countries. Allianz Worldwide Partners also includes two other divisions: Allianz Global Automotive and Allianz Global Assistance.
As of early October 2015, Henner had not yet announced a replacement for Obligi and may be in the process of redesigning its organizational structure.
