Saudi insurance carrier Tawuniya in September 2019 announced the appointment of Sulaiman Al Amri as Head of Brokers Management and International Partnerships.

Sulaiman joins Tawuniya from Willis Towers Watson where he was Executive Director for Riyadh and Jeddah; Branch Manager in Riyadh; and Health and Benefits Manager in Khobar, Saudi Arabia. Previously, he worked for AXA as Customer Service Manager in Riyadh; American Express as Unit Head Corporate Service in Riyadh; and Tawuniya as Supervisor customer service in Riyadh.

He also served as mentor for The Centennial Fund and as a member of the Consultancy Committee of the Saudi Health Insurance Bus Project (SHIB) operated by the Council of Cooperative Health Insurance in Riyadh. SHIB is a national Saudi project to standardize the recording and reporting of health care services to insurance companies, and to enable project members to exchange electronic health insurance transactions.

Sulaiman holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Arab Open University and a CII Diploma in Insurance from the Bahrain Institute for Banking and Financial Studies.
